Retail sales in Poland increased by 3.8 percent y/y in October 2019, after an increase of 3.9 percent y/y in September 2019, Eurostat reported. On a monthly basis, sales increased by 0.9 percent.
Annual data takes into account the number of working days, while monthly data is also seasonally adjusted. Eurostat data also includes the smallest companies employing less than 10 employees, i.e., in this case, small family stores, but in turn, do not take into account car sales.
