Retail sales in Poland rose by 8.0% year-on-year in August, following a 7.6% increase in July, Eurostat reported. On a monthly basis, sales rose by 0.7%.
The annual figures were adjusted for the number of working days, while the monthly figures were deseasoned.
The Eurostat figures also include the smallest firms with fewer than ten employees, in this case, small family shops, but in turn, exclude car sales.
