Retail sales in Poland up by 10.7% y/y in May

Retail sales in Poland up by 10.7% y/y in May

Seasonally adjusted retail sales in Poland increased by 10.7 percent y/y in May 2021, the EU statistical office Eurostat reported.

In monthly terms, retail sales in Poland increased by 6.1 percent.

In the entire European Union, retail sales increased by 4.6 percent in monthly terms, and in annual terms increased by 9.2 percent y/y.

According to the Central Statistical Office (GUS), retail sales (in constant prices) increased by 13.9 percent y/y in May 2021. In monthly terms, an increase of 8.2 percent was recorded.
