Revision of Polish KPO finally approved
EU finance and economy ministers approved changes to Poland’s National Recovery Plan (KPO) on Friday, bringing the revision process to a close. After amendments adopted by the Polish government in late September, the KPO now includes 57 investment projects and 54 reforms. Poland is set to receive about PLN 232 billion (€54.71 billion), including PLN 107 billion (€25.27 billion) in grants and PLN 124.8 billion (€29.44 billion) in preferential loans. During the revision period, member states are not allowed to submit payment requests.
Finalizing the process was therefore necessary for Poland to submit its sixth and seventh payment applications, which the Ministry of Funds plans to send by the end of December.
