R.Power has contract with Axpo Polska to build energy storage for 150 MW
A subsidiary of R.Power has signed a long-term energy storage services agreement with Axpo Polska for a battery energy storage system (BESS) with 150 MW of power and around 300 MWh of capacity. The contract runs until 31 December 2037, with services starting once the storage facility enters commercial operation. Under the agreement, Axpo will manage and optimize the operation of the battery, while remuneration will be based on a profit-sharing model, including a guaranteed minimum revenue for R.Power’s subsidiary.
The total value of the contract over its lifetime may exceed 10% of R.Power’s equity. R.Power operates renewable projects across several European markets, focusing on solar, storage, and wind energy.
