Ryanair says European airfares could rise by as much as 20% in 2027 as fuel costs increase, though it expects smaller increases in Poland, where fares are already lower. Poland’s managing director says price changes will vary by market and route. Ryanair has hedged 80% of its fuel needs through March 2027 at $67 per barrel, but only 15% for the following year at $85. The airline expects higher fares at traditional carriers, including LOT, to push more travelers toward low-cost flights.

It will maintain its expansion plans, including 300 Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft, with a target of 800 aircraft and 300 mln passengers annually by 2034. The company is also expanding its Wrocław maintenance base.
