Scanway counting on new constellation projects with SmallSat Conference
Scanway is seeking new customers, partners, and sales opportunities in the U.S. and global space markets at the Small Satellite Conference, taking place August 23–26. CEO Jędrzej Kowalewski said previous contacts made at the event led to a contract worth around EUR 4 million with Nara Space Technology. The Polish company is particularly focused on satellite constellation projects as it works to strengthen its position as a European supplier of advanced optical instruments. Under its 2026–2028 strategy,
Scanway aims to place its products in constellations operated by global leaders and scale production to several dozen optical payloads annually. It is also expanding beyond hardware into image processing, analytics, prediction, and decision-support services, while growing its U.S. subsidiary, Scanway Space Corporation.
