In January 2025, tenant sales in Polish shopping centers rose by 2.6% y/y, according to the Polish Council of Shopping Centers (PRCH). Visitor density (footfall per square meter) also increased slightly by 0.4% y/y. The strongest sales growth occurred in the Kraków metropolitan area. Medium-sized centers (20,000–40,000 m²) performed best, with a 3.8% increase in sales, followed by large malls (over 60,000 m²) at 3.0%.

Small and mid-large centers saw smaller gains of 1.9% and 1.5%, respectively. The average spending per customer per visit (conversion rate) also rose by 2.2%. The growth was attributed to post-holiday spending and pre-winter break shopping, setting a positive tone for the retail sector in 2025.
