Simon J. Britsch appointed President of Bayer in Poland

On September 2, 2025, Bayer announced the appointment of Simon J. Britsch as President of Bayer in Poland, a role he assumes in parallel with his position as CFO for Eastern Europe. With 25 years at Bayer, Britsch brings extensive international experience, having held senior leadership roles across Asia, including CFO of Bayer Vietnam, leading Healthcare operations in Beijing, and later serving as CFO for South Asia in Mumbai. He also contributed to global strategic initiatives in Germany, notably developing Bayer’s Enterprise Risk Management system.
Since July 2025, he has been based in Warsaw, overseeing the company’s financial strategy in the region. Britsch emphasized his commitment to innovation, collaboration, and Bayer’s mission “Health for All, Hunger for None.” A graduate in Business Management from Essen and MBA holder from Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, he also completed executive programs at Harvard Business School. Bayer, a global leader in Life Sciences, focuses on healthcare and nutrition, employing 93,000 people worldwide with €46.6 billion in 2024 sales, and continues to prioritize sustainable growth through innovation.
