Skanska is investing about €74 million in the fifth phase of the Nowy Rynek complex in Poznań. The new building, Nowy Rynek C, will be a six-story office property with roughly 29,000 square meters of leasable space. It will be the first commercial office building in Poland to operate with net-zero CO₂ emissions. The project will be powered entirely by renewable energy and equipped with photovoltaic panels along with air and ground heat pumps. An AI-enhanced building management system and automated window panels will support natural ventilation and reduce energy use. 

The building will also feature a rooftop designed for drone deliveries and underground spaces that can serve as a shelter in emergencies. Construction begins in late 2025 and is expected to finish in late 2027.
