The payment of the 15th pension would be too big of a burden for the state budget, Deputy Finance Minister Artur Soboń said.

Soboń confirmed on the air of Zet radio that the budget will not withstand the payment of the 15th pension.

In late August, President Andrzej Duda said that if a 15th pension was needed, it should be considered. Last week, the media reported that the 15th pension would be paid in 2023. The chair of the Executive Committee of Law and Justice Krzysztof Sobolewski denied this information.
