SpaceRocket Games releases Permafrost on Steam
SpaceRocket Games, part of the Play2Chill Group, has released Permafrost in Early Access. The Unreal Engine 5 survival game is the group’s third announced release, following Aztecs: The Last Sun and Wild West Pioneers.
Players must survive freezing conditions, explore an open world, build shelters, gather supplies, and contend with hostile factions and wildlife. The game includes an approximately 30-hour story campaign and supports solo play or online co-op for up to four players. Its Early Access version features multiple biomes, crafting and building systems, side quests, and the opening chapter of the story.
Play2Chill calls the launch a strategic milestone and says the game’s growing Steam wish list helped motivate the team to finish development.
