SPAR Group eyes selling its business in Poland
SPAR Group is seeking a buyer for its chain of supermarkets in Poland, which comprises 212 retail stores, the company announced. SPAR has not disclosed the specific reasons behind this decision to divest its Polish business. However, the company has assured that it will continue to offer necessary support to SPAR Polska until the group finds a suitable and dependable investor.
The SPAR Group Ltd. is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in South Africa. In 2019, the SPAR Group acquired the Piotr i Paweł chain of stores.
