Polish IT company Spyrosoft has acquired U.S.-based Carimus, a digital solutions firm from North Carolina, to accelerate its growth in the American market. The deal includes a USD 4.5 million (PLN 16.4 million) cash payment over 2.5 years and additional Spyrosoft shares tied to Carimus’s 2027 performance. Founded in 2013, Carimus employs about 40 people and focuses on brand strategy, UX design, web and mobile development, and IT consulting, serving U.S. clients in healthcare, biotech, energy, and infrastructure. Spyrosoft, already active in the U.S. (15% of its 2025 H1 revenue), aims to expand its client base and strengthen AI capabilities.

The acquisition aligns with its global growth strategy, following earlier takeovers of Better Software Group and Codibly.
