Stronie Śląskie rebuilt after flood with PLN 123 million and 24 homes

On October 21, 2025, the initiative “Entrepreneurs for Flood Victims” handed over keys to 24 new homes in the “Osiedle z widokiem na przyszłość” estate in Goszów near Stronie Śląskie, marking the end of Poland’s largest private aid campaign following the 2024 Lower Silesia floods. The effort, coordinated by the Entrepreneurship Support Foundation and over 300 companies, delivered PLN 123 million in support—PLN 23 million in donations and PLN 100 million in material aid.
In under a year, 12 semi-detached houses were built, each equipped with heat pumps and energy-efficient systems. Major contributors included InPost, Omenaa Foundation, Respect Energy, and The Kellner Family Foundation, which donated EUR 2 million. The project symbolized solidarity and private-sector efficiency in crisis recovery.
