Study: 90% of bankers see need to increase spending on cybersecurity

According to a Mind&Roses survey, 90% of Polish bankers recognize the urgent need to significantly increase cybersecurity investments, with 45% strongly agreeing. Additionally, 97% observe a growing importance of digital channels in retail banking services. The top challenges for the coming years include ensuring customer cybersecurity (90%) and safeguarding banks' IT infrastructure (69%).
Other priorities are developing open banking solutions (45%), maintaining customer relationships through digital channels (41%), and implementing new payment technologies (31%). The findings highlight that as digitalization accelerates, cybersecurity and customer trust remain critical to the stability and growth of Poland’s banking sector.
