A survey by NTT DATA highlights the growing interest in generative AI (GenAI) among global businesses, with 97% of 2,307 executives across 34 countries expecting a significant impact on business processes. However, 90% cite outdated IT infrastructure as a barrier, and 64% recognize the need to develop internal GenAI skills. Despite challenges, 99% plan further investments, and two-thirds aim to significantly increase budgets within two years.

Key goals include improved productivity (96%), operational efficiency, and compliance. Specific industries, like automotive and finance, prioritize quality control and risk management. To support GenAI, companies must upgrade data centers for higher energy and storage demands. Poland sees this AI evolution as an opportunity to position itself as a regional data hub.
