Survey: nearly 60% of Poles assess financial situation positively
The financial situation of Polish households is described as the best in history. In 2025, 59.2% of households rated their situation as good or rather good, up from 57.7% in 2024, while only 4.2% rated it as bad or rather bad. Average monthly disposable income per person reached PLN 3,500, up 10.5% nominally and 6.7% in real terms. Average spending was PLN 2,015, equal to just 57.6% of income, a new record. Since Poland joined the EU in 2004, per-person income has risen from PLN 735. The strongest positions were seen among the self-employed and farmers.
The data show incomes rising faster than expenses, improving purchasing power and savings capacity.
