On October 21, 2026, the 14th Executive Innovation Forum brought together business leaders, technology experts, academics, and public sector representatives at Stara Zajezdnia in Kraków. The event focused on the innovations shaping Poland’s economic future, from the energy transition and industrial automation to technological sovereignty and cybersecurity.
The conference opened with an address by Andrzej Augustyński, chairman of the Executive Club Council, who highlighted Poland’s rich history of innovation and the importance of turning groundbreaking ideas into commercial success.
Innovation at the heart of economic transformation
The first panel, “Innovations in Energy,” explored the challenges facing the energy sector. Discussions centered on renewable energy, energy storage, infrastructure modernization, and the need to balance sustainability with industrial competitiveness. Participants emphasized the importance of investment in technology and cooperation among businesses, research institutions, and public authorities.
The second debate, “AI and Industrial Automation,” examined how artificial intelligence is transforming business operations. Experts highlighted that successful digital transformation requires more than adopting advanced tools. Companies must also redesign processes, develop employee skills, and ensure that new technologies deliver measurable results.
Building technological independence and digital resilience
The discussion on “Local Content and Technological Sovereignty” addressed the role of Polish companies in major infrastructure projects. Participants stressed that strengthening domestic industry requires not only greater involvement of local suppliers but also knowledge transfer, investment in expertise, and the development of proprietary technologies.
The final panel, “Next-Generation Cybersecurity,” focused on emerging digital threats and organizational resilience. Speakers discussed AI-driven cyberattacks, data protection, and the importance of proactive security strategies. Particular attention was given to business continuity and the need to regularly test recovery procedures.
Recognizing innovation excellence
The forum concluded with the Diamonds of Innovation Awards Gala, celebrating outstanding companies and leaders whose achievements contribute to technological progress. Award recipients included PKO Bank Polski, Fideltronik, cyber_Folks, and Creotech Instruments.
The 14th Executive Innovation Forum demonstrated that long-term competitiveness depends on more than technological advancement. Strategic investment, cross-sector collaboration, and the ability to transform innovative concepts into practical solutions remain essential to building a resilient economy prepared for the future.
