Teresa Czerwińska, currently a member of the management board of the National Bank of Poland (NBP), as of March 1 will take the position of the Vice President of the European Investment Bank (EIB.
Teresa Czerwińska was the minister of finance from January 2018 to June 2019. On June 4, 2019, President Andrzej Duda appointed her to the board of the NBP.
Czerwińska is a graduate of the University of Gdańsk, the Faculty of Social Sciences (1997) and the Faculty of Management (1998). She obtained the degree of Doctor of Science of economics in the discipline of finance in 2010. She was a governor on behalf of Poland, among others at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), and the European Investment Bank.
