The 16th edition of the PRCH Retail Awards has been decided!
During a ceremonial gala held on 13 November 2025 at Forteca Kręgliccy in Warsaw, the laureates of the 16th edition of the PRCH Retail Awards were announced. The jury presented awards in 25 categories, recognizing the most innovative and effective business, marketing, and management projects in the retail real estate sector. In addition, three special awards were granted for exceptional achievements.
The PRCH Retail Awards competition has been organized for 16 years by the Polish Council of Shopping Centres. Its goal is to promote best practices, innovation, and effectiveness in the retail industry, as well as to honor the teams behind the success of retail properties and companies. The gala is the culmination of a year-long program and is one of the most important events in the annual calendar of the retail sector in Poland.
The awards are granted by an independent jury composed of industry experts. A distinguishing feature of the competition is its multi-stage, transparent evaluation process and the rule that jurors may not evaluate projects in which they are professionally involved. The jury deliberates in two separate panels: the business-strategic panel and the marketing panel.
This year, the number of applications was exceptionally high, and their quality — remarkably strong. “We received professionally prepared submissions that were a pleasure for the jury to review. Once again, reading the projects showed us that the retail sector is not only about places to shop, but also spaces for meeting, inspiration, and meaningful action for local communities,” said Filip Kryłowicz, Chair of the Business-Strategic Jury and Retail Portfolio Director, Poland, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, during the awards ceremony.
The quality of the entries and the shift beyond the purely commercial role of retail properties was also emphasized by the representative of the marketing jury, Sylwia Wiszowata-Łazarz, Associate Director / Asset Services EMEA, Cushman & Wakefield: “The quality of the submissions was truly impressive. We evaluated 57 applications in 11 categories, and the majority of them focused on initiatives for local communities and brand-image campaigns. In our opinion, this clearly shows how strong the trend of social responsibility has become in our industry. These initiatives build loyalty and authenticity for our brands.”
