The Economist ranks Poland in top ten economies of the year 2025
The Economist has named Portugal the Economy of the Year 2025, citing strong GDP growth of 2.4%, low inflation, and a robust stock market rally of 20%. Tourism and wealthy foreign migrants attracted by low taxes were key growth drivers. Ireland placed second, though its exceptional GDP figures are distorted by multinational profit reporting, while Israel ranked third благодаря strong post-war recovery and a booming stock market.
Poland finished 10th, supported by solid GDP growth of 3.8% and strong stock market performance, but weighed down by inflation and a slight rise in unemployment. Poland ranked behind the Czech Republic and Slovenia, but ahead of major economies like France, the US, Germany, and the UK.
