November data confirms an economic acceleration, Finance Minister Andrzej Domański wrote on social media.
Retail sales (in constant prices) increased by 3.1 percent y/y in November 2024, according to the Central Statistical Office (GUS). Monthly, however, there was a decline of 1.2 percent.
"Retail sales in constant prices in November 2024 were 3.1 percent higher than a year ago (compared to a decline of 0.3 percent in November 2023). Compared to October 2024, retail sales dropped by 1.2 percent. From January to November 2024, sales increased by 2.7 percent y/y (compared to a 2.4 percent decline in the same period of 2023)," the statement read.
