The Shire aims to challenge global flexible-office operators
Polish premium serviced-office operator The Shire has 12 locations and nearly 25,000 square meters of space. It aims to build Poland’s leading premium network, prioritizing profitable, high-quality projects over simply adding locations. The company increasingly uses management agreements, in which property owners retain ownership of the building and furnishings while The Shire handles branding, sales, marketing, customer service, and operations.
The model offers landlords professional management without giving up control of their assets. The Shire says flexible offices are gaining appeal as companies seek alternatives to long leases. It plans to compete with global chains through local market knowledge, faster decisions, and offices designed to offer a better experience than working from home.
