The unemployment rate in December stood at 2.9%
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in December amounted to 2.9% against 3.0% in November, according to Eurostat. The number of unemployed in December was 503,000 against 508,000 in the previous month.
In the entire European Union, unemployment amounted to 6.1% in December against 6.1% a month earlier.
