There are over two mln inboxes in e-Delivery system in Poland
Over two million mailboxes are now active in Poland’s e-Doręczenia (e-Delivery) system, with 75% created this year, according to Poczta Polska. So far, institutions, companies and individuals have sent 38.7 million items via the system, including 12 million fully digital registered letters and 26.7 million hybrid deliveries. Around 92% of all shipments were sent in 2025 alone. Poczta Polska expects further growth as, from January, many public institutions will be required to use e-Doręczenia for communication with citizens.
Those with electronic delivery addresses will receive digital mail, while others will receive hybrid mail, printed and delivered traditionally. e-Doręczenia is free for citizens when contacting public entities, while e-Polecony is used between private parties.
