In 2022, the revenues of the top fifteen construction companies in Poland reached nearly PLN 44.5 billion, reflecting a 22.5% y/y increase, according to Deloitte's "Polish Construction Companies 2023" report. Budimex Group led the ranking with revenues of PLN 8.6 billion, showing a 8.9% growth compared to 2021. Strabag Group and PORR Group secured the second and third positions with revenues of PLN 5.1 billion and PLN 3.9 billion, respectively.

Despite challenging market conditions due to economic slowdown, sentiments in the construction market are slightly improving. The report also highlights factors influencing business in the coming years, such as workforce availability, rising material costs, and subcontractor issues. The construction-production output increased by 20.5% in 2022, with infrastructure projects funded by EU funds playing a significant role. The year 2022 posed challenges for the housing market, witnessing a nearly 50% drop in the number of sold apartments in the primary market in the six largest Polish cities. Non-residential buildings dominated the market at 31.8%, followed by transport infrastructure (28.8%) and residential buildings (17.5%).
