Tusk: after years of discussion the CPK terminal has begun construction

Just before Tuesday’s government meeting, Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the launch of a competitive dialogue procedure to select the general contractor for the Central Communication Port (CPK) passenger terminal. He emphasized that "work has finally begun after years of discussion" about the need for a major airport in central Poland.
The procedure will prioritize Polish firms, with the aim of ensuring domestic companies benefit from the construction contracts. The CPK company estimates the terminal's value at PLN 5 billion. Tusk’s statement aims to cut through public controversy and show tangible progress on the long-delayed project, which is positioned as a key infrastructure investment for Poland’s future.
