The unemployment rate in Poland, after seasonal adjustment, amounted to 3.8 percent in May 2019, according to the Eurostat methodology, , compared to 3.7 percent in April 2019. It means that the number of unemployed in May amounted to 643,000 compared to 634,000 in April.
Meanwhile, the unemployment rate in the euro area is falling. It amounted to 7.5 percent in May 2019 against 7.6 percent in the previous month. A year ago, this indicator was 8.3 percent.
