Following the success of its pop-up, UNIQLO has reopened a permanent store in Warsaw’s Wars Sawa Junior Department Stores—its second location in Poland after Westfield Arkadia. According to Kohsuke Kobayashi, COO of UNIQLO Germany & Poland, the Japanese retailer sees Poland as an “interesting and attractive market” and plans gradual, thoughtful expansion.

Owned by Japan’s Fast Retailing Co., UNIQLO is the group’s largest brand among eight, including GU, Theory, and Helmut Lang. While the company is not confirming openings in other cities such as Kraków or Wrocław, Kobayashi says success in Warsaw will determine next steps.

E-commerce remains key, accounting for 20% of global sales. UNIQLO is exploring a Polish-language online store to complement its physical presence, aligning with its philosophy of steady, customer-focused growth and adaptation to local preferences.
