Valorization of 500+ to PLN 800 will raise CPI by 0.1% in 2024 – Patkowski, MF
Valorization of the benefit 500+ to PLN 800 will raise inflation in Poland in 2024 by 0.1% to 6.6%, Deputy Finance Minister Piotr Patkowski estimated on Radio Plus.
"The valorization of 500+ to PLN 800, which will amount to PLN 24 billion next year, will cause a very slight increase in inflation, by 0.1%, from 6.5% to 6.6%," he said.
"There is no indication that the valorization of 500+ or allowances for public sector employees will reverse the downward trend in inflation," he added.
