Video game developer The Farm 51, filing for bankruptcy in Gliwice
The Farm 51, a game studio listed on NewConnect and known for Chernobylite, has filed for bankruptcy with a court in Gliwice, while also requesting suspension of the proceedings. The move is described as precautionary and aimed at meeting legal obligations during ongoing restructuring.
The company’s priority remains reaching an agreement with creditors. It is also in talks with potential investors to secure funding for restructuring, operations, and development of Chernobylite 2, though the outcome is uncertain.
Separately, Cherrypick Games also filed for bankruptcy due to weak sales and delayed merger talks, highlighting broader financial pressures in Poland’s gaming sector.
