Vinci has PLN 1.1 bln for investments in growth companies
Vinci, an investment arm of the BGK Group, plans to invest PLN 1.1 billion in about 50 Polish start-ups and scale-ups by 2030, according to its 2026–2030 strategy. The fund focuses on advanced technologies, R&D projects, and companies preparing for international expansion, aiming to keep patents, engineering talent, and management teams in Poland. Vinci currently holds 12 portfolio firms, including SR Robotics, Fluence Technology, and Iceye, and plans to back 38 more.
Target sectors include space tech, cybersecurity, AI, robotics, health, and agriculture, with growing interest in dual-use innovations (civil and defense). Vinci also provides “smart money” — capital combined with BGK’s expertise, networks, and support to help firms scale globally from a Polish base.
