During the 16th Retail Banking Congress, Adrian Kurowski, Visa's General Manager in Poland, highlighted the growing openness of Poles to adopting technology in banking and payments. He emphasized that Poland is among the most advanced nations in Europe when it comes to embracing innovative financial solutions.
“Fourteen years ago, contactless payments were seen as a novelty, and today they are a standard,” Kurowski stated.
He noted that this enthusiasm extends to artificial intelligence as well. According to research, 42 percent of Poles are open to AI assistance when applying for a mortgage, and 27 percent would welcome its help in paying daily bills.
Kurowski underscored Poland's leadership in adopting financial technologies, reflecting the rapid growth of the market and the society's readiness to embrace new possibilities. This positions Poland as a key player in the evolution of digital payments and AI integration.
