In November 2024, the average gross monthly wage in the enterprise sector reached PLN 8,478.26, marking a 10.5% y/y increase, boosted by bonuses and holiday rewards. Employment in the sector declined by 0.5% y/y, totaling 6.46 million jobs. Analysts note that rising wages reflect the aftermath of high inflation in 2023, while employment trends show mixed signals.

The enterprise sector includes businesses with 10 or more employees, and recent increases in minimum wages also influenced overall salary growth. While sectors like trade and administration added jobs, manufacturing saw only a marginal decline, halting a months-long negative trend. Economists predict moderated wage increases in 2025 due to cost pressures and labor shortages in some industries.
