Warsaw Leads the Salary Ranking in Poland
Warsaw has moved up in the salary ranking. It's in the capital that salaries are the highest. However, the difference between the capital city and Kraków, which took second place, is only PLN 32. The third position went to Gdańsk, which, compared to the previous edition of the salary ranking, lost the leader's position.
In the capital of Mazovia, the average monthly gross salary in the enterprise sector in January 2024 was PLN 9,422.99. This is a 12.2 percent increase compared to the same period the year before.
In Warsaw, salaries increased the most (compared to January 2023) in the transportation and storage sector (by 18.0 percent).
