Warsaw’s Klif to be demolished to make room for apartments for 900 families

Warsaw’s Klif shopping center on Okopowa Street will be replaced by a large residential complex developed by Yareal under the lex deweloper framework. The project envisions eight buildings of 5–11 floors, plus an 18-story landmark, offering nearly 900 apartments and about 30 service units. The design by HRA Architekci and SAWAWA includes a green central square, playgrounds, sports areas, and a woonerf pedestrian-friendly street. Plans also provide a garage for 1,000 cars and 1,500 bicycle spaces.
Architecture will blend modern urban frontage along Okopowa with forms referencing Muranów’s heritage. Construction will include a new kindergarten at the developer’s expense. Public consultations begin in September, with completion reshaping this part of the city into an open, accessible neighborhood.
