As soon as 8 February 2024 in Warsaw, opinion-leading experts, government representatives and entrepreneurs will discuss the new directions and key trends that are shaping the future of the Polish and European economies. The annual EEC Trends conference is an introduction to Central Europe’s major business event, the European Economic Congress in Katowice, which will be held this year on 8-10 May. Registration for EEC Trends is open.
The EEC Trends conference consists of a series of debates on the prospects and current directions of the Polish economy with an invaluable contribution from the partners and participants in the European Economic Congress. A multidisciplinary group of experts will take part in discussions that will continue during the 16th European Economic Congress in Katowice. As every year, the congress agenda will respond to the challenges of today.
“During this year’s edition of EEC Trends, the most important phenomena in the economy will be discussed: the effects of the complicated geopolitical situation, with the war in Europe and the energy crisis at the forefront, the transformation of the energy sector and the processes of adapting the economy to climate challenges, as well as phenomena related to the economic slowdown and the conditions and effects of digitalisation, among others”, says Wojciech Kuśpik, CEO of the PTWP Group. “The conclusions, which will be developed jointly by a group of the most respected experts, will, like every year, form a solid foundation for the final agenda of the 16th edition of the European Economic Congress,” he adds.
As every year during EEC Trends, the editors of the economic website WNP.PL will award the “WNP Awards”. The awards will be handed out to those who, through their own initiatives, have contributed to positive changes in the Polish economy.
