In 2024, Wizz Air transported a record 62.8 million passengers globally, including over 12 million in Poland, the airline announced. The company operated over 300,000 flights worldwide and expanded its fleet by 34 aircraft, reaching a total of 226 planes, primarily Airbus A320neo and A321neo models.

In Poland, Wizz Air launched 12 new routes, including a connection to Chișinău, and plans to add 4 more planes to its fleet in summer 2025, increasing the total to 34. The airline will introduce 11 new routes and enhance frequencies on key connections.

Globally, Wizz Air aims to add 50 new Airbus A321neo and A321XLR aircraft by early 2026, increasing seating capacity by approximately 20%.
