Wojciech Koszuta appointed as the new CEO of ArcelorMittal Poland
On December 12, 2024, Sanjay Samaddar stepped down as CEO of ArcelorMittal Poland but continues as Country Head Poland and General Manager of the Long Products segment in ArcelorMittal Europe. The Supervisory Board appointed Wojciech Koszuta, General Manager since July 2023, as the new CEO. Samaddar will now chair the Supervisory Board, replacing Augustine Kochuparampil, who becomes Vice Chair.
Samaddar, reflecting on his 20-year journey with ArcelorMittal Poland, expressed pride in his tenure and confidence in Koszuta’s leadership. Koszuta, with the company since 2000, rose through ranks, including roles in production engineering and quality management. He holds degrees in metallurgy, material engineering, and business management, making him a seasoned leader poised for success in his new role.
