The World Trade Monitor, an indicator of the dynamics of the volume of international trade, fell by 1.1 percent m/m in May, as the Dutch Bureau of Economic Policy Analysis (CPB) reported. This index is adjusted, inter alia, by changes in the prices of raw materials that may interfere with finding trends in the data.
In April, the index fell by 12.2 percent m/m, after revision.
