Wrocław-based software house Callstack acquired by Americans

American fund Viking Global Investors acquired a majority stake in Wrocław software house Callstack, valuing the company at approximately PLN 0.5 billion. Founders Anna Lankauf and Tomasz and Piotr Karwatka exited the company, cashing out shares worth around PLN 325 million. Co-founder and CTO Mike Grabowski retains a 35% stake and continues in operational leadership. Founded in 2016, Callstack specializes in React Native development for U.S. and European clients. In 2023, it reported revenues of PLN 127.9 million and a net profit of PLN 42.4 million.

The deal follows a broader trend of foreign interest in Polish tech, including a 700 million PLN investment in Asseco by Canada’s Topicus earlier this year.
