WSA reports decline in crude steel production in February

WSA reports decline in crude steel production in February

Production of crude steel in Poland amounted to 800,000 tons in February 2019, which means a decrease by 6.8 percent y/y, according to data of the World Steel Association (WSA).

In the January-February period, production amounted to 1,690,000 tons, 4.4 percent less than in the same period last year.

In the entire year 2018, production stood at 10,165,000 tons, 1.6 percent less than in the previous year.
