The Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) general meeting was suspended until July 11 at the request of the State Treasury, announced the meeting's chairman. The request followed the publication of current reports by the company on Wednesday evening.
Shareholders agreed to the interruption before voting on granting discharge to former president Marek Dietl and other board members for 2023. The Supervisory Board had recommended not granting discharge to Dietl and former board member Adam Młodkowski, who was recently dismissed.
However, the Board recommended granting discharge to current members Izabela Olszewska and Monika Gorgoń. The recommendations were based on performance assessments, project supervision, and audit findings.
Recently, WSE launched a competition to fill three management board positions. Tomasz Bardziowski has been president since March, with Sławomir Panasiuk overseeing IT and technology.
