Żywiec announced it will supply all power from roof mounted solar panels
Famed Żywiec has launched a photovoltaic installation that will cover approximately one-third of its electricity demand. The company, known for producing operating tables and hospital beds, expects the investment to pay off in about six years. The solar panels, installed on the factory roofs, began supplying energy on September 12, 2024, after their delivery and installation earlier in the year.
The 500 kW system is projected to save around 25% in annual electricity costs, enhancing the company's competitiveness in the Med-Tech sector .
