FinMin: VAT revenues increased 27.3% y/y, PiT revenues by 22%, CIT revenues by 19.1% after March

Revenue from VAT in Poland surged by 27.3% y/y reaching PLN 75.3 billion after March 2024. Personal income tax (PIT) income rose by 22% year-on-year to PLN 13.9 billion, while corporate income tax (CIT) revenue increased by 19.1% to PLN 18 billion. Excise tax revenue grew by 3.5% to PLN 19.5 billion.

Non-tax revenue for January-March 2024 totaled PLN 15 billion, slightly lower by approximately PLN 0.4 billion compared to the same period in 2023. Overall, state budget revenues for January-March 2024 amounted to approximately PLN 146.4 billion, up by about PLN 21.8 billion compared to the same period last year.
