The American economy is currently developing faster than the economies of the Eurozone countries. The total productivity growth in the USA from 2015 to 2022 was 4.7 percent, while the total productivity growth in the Eurozone was 1.8 percent.
In the fourth quarter, the GDP of the Eurozone stagnated. At the same time, the American economy continued to develop at a rate close to 3.1 percent. Forecasts indicate that the difference will widen in 2024. Analysts surveyed by Focus Economics predict that the US economy will grow by 1.8 percent, while in the Eurozone, it will be 0.6 percent.
