Workers highly value work-life balance, with 57% in Poland and globally rejecting job offers that might harm it, according to a Randstad global study. Work-life balance ranks as the top factor for job satisfaction, followed by salary and job stability. Despite ambition, many workers, especially in Poland, prioritize staying in a fulfilling role over career advancement. Polish employees express less openness to discussing career ambitions with employers compared to the global average. Remote work flexibility is crucial, with 39% in Poland considering it non-negotiable. However, some feel their employers do not provide sufficient remote work opportunities.

The study, conducted across 34 countries, indicates a shift in work dynamics, with remote work influencing life decisions like relocation. Employees in Poland are more likely to attribute job motivation to themselves rather than their employers.
