Poland remains well positioned to compete for investment, but must protect its advantages through competitive costs, skilled labor and a stable business environment, according to Łódź Deputy Mayor Adam Pustelnik. He highlighted Poland’s geographic location, economic resilience and workforce as key strengths, while stressing that energy costs, infrastructure and regulatory predictability increasingly influence investment decisions. Łódź is using spatial planning to concentrate residential and service projects in the city center while reserving peripheral areas for industry, benefiting from major road and rail links.

Pustelnik said attracting investors is only the first step. Retaining them requires strong institutions, workforce development, public support instruments and predictable rules that encourage companies to expand their operations in Poland.
