AI enters Polish clinics
Poland’s central e-registration system for healthcare is set to gain an AI voice assistant this summer, using technology from ElevenLabs and supported by the National Health Fund. The tool is meant to help patients book or change appointments and reduce no-shows, a persistent efficiency problem in the public health system. Central e-registration has been gradually rolled out and became mandatory for selected services from January 2026. For international readers, the story combines two Polish strengths: public-sector digitisation and globally visible AI entrepreneurship, with ElevenLabs co-founded by Polish entrepreneur Mati Staniszewski.
